AboutUs.
Welcome to the Lawton Crafts, Arts, and Hobby Association! Established in January 1974 with a passion for creativity, our association has been fostering a love for crafts, arts, and hobbies in the local and surrounding area for over four decades.

Our journey began with a small craft show held in October 1973 at the National Guard Armory, which sparked the formation of our organization. In August 1974, we became a non-profit entity, incorporating with the primary goal of generating further interest in various crafts, arts, and hobbies.

Since our inception, we have proudly organized the annual "Craft Harvest" craft show, which has become a beloved tradition in our community. Starting in 1991, the show expanded to exhibit in two buildings—the coliseum and the Annex—before finding its current home in the Expo Building at the Fairgrounds in 2000. This move allowed us to provide more space and a seamless experience for both vendors and visitors.

As a non-profit organization, we are dedicated to giving back to the community. Over the years, we have supported local organizations such as Giddy-Up-Go, The Greiner School for the Handicapped, Center for Creative Living, and Lawton Food Bank through sponsorships, donations, and other forms of assistance. By collaborating with these groups, we strive to make a positive impact and contribute to the betterment of our community.

We believe in the power of creativity and the joy of sharing artistic endeavors. That's why we have an open membership policy and welcome anyone who shares our passion for crafts, arts, and hobbies to join us. Our monthly meetings are held on the third Monday of each month at 7:30 pm at the Center for Creative Living, located at 3501 SW Dr Elsie Hamm Drive, Lawton, OK.
Join us in celebrating the spirit of creativity, connecting with fellow enthusiasts, and exploring new horizons in the world of crafts, arts, and hobbies. Together, let's continue to inspire and be inspired by the boundless possibilities of creative expression.
We look forward to meeting you and embarking on this creative journey together!
